Introduction 簡介

subFUN Eco-Plaything Design Competition targeting for primary school students (from 19/20) aims to promote the concept of waste reuse and upcycling and have fun. Participants will create plaything using wasted materials, submit online and present to the judges in the final judging day. 

「拾FUN」環保玩意設計比賽對象是小學生(由19/20開始)，旨在推廣廢物再用和升級再造的概念。參加者將運用創意和廢物設計和製作小玩意，在網上遞交，並在終極評審日向評審簡介作品。

• To help develop good habits of 'Use Less, Waste Less'

• To encourage creativity;

• To nurture future designers for the industry

Design 賽事設計

The competition consists of three parts: production and submission, nomination, presentation.

1. Participants design and make playthings with creativity and wasted materials. Apply online and email the video of the work for submission.

2. A jury panel will nominate the best submissions.

3. The selected works will be presented and evaluated in the final judging.

Prizes will be given to the winners of Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards. All shortlisted  participants will receive a merit certificate.

比賽分為三部分：製作及遞交、首輪甄選、簡介。

1. 參賽者運用創意和廢物設計和製作小玩意，並在網上登記報名及用電郵遞交作品錄像。

2. 評審團將從每個組別中提名入圍作品。

3. 入圍作品將終極評審中展示及接受評審。

最後選出金、銀、銅獎的得獎者。所有入圍參賽者均可獲得嘉許證書。

Rules 比賽規例

Entry Requirements 作品要求

• The work can be a simple game or toy, for child or for adult, for fun or for other good purposes, or refer to the theme of that year if available.

• Board game and chess game are excluded

• The work has to be:

  ‧ original and new.

  ‧ playable, for single player or multiple players

  ‧ made with recycled materials

  ‧ safe to play

  ‧ limited to 60cm x 60cm X 60cm

• Photos should be provided to show how the recycled materials used

• 30-second video (in MP4 format) should be provided to demonstrate the features and how to play

• Individual or team (less than 6)

• ​作品可以是為小孩或成人而設、具趣味性或有良好目的的遊戲或玩具，或參看當年主題

• 作品不包括桌上遊戲和棋類遊戲

• 作品必須：

‧ 使用循環再用物料

‧ 原創及全新

‧ 可供一人或多人玩

‧ 安全

‧ 尺寸限制為60cm x 60cm X 60cm

• 須提供相片以展示如何運用可循環物料

• 須提供錄像以示範作品的特色和玩法

• 可以個人或隊伍名義參賽(每隊最多6人)

Reviewing Criteria 評審準則

Each submitted work will be reviewed by academic and professional experts. Nominees and award winners will be selected based on the following criteria:

• Creative

• Environmentally sustainable

• Funny and enjoyable

作品會交由學者和專業設計師評審。提名名單和最後勝出作品將根據以下準則選出：

• 富創意

• 環境可持續

• 好玩有趣

Enrolment 報名

Please follow the steps below to enrol and submit:

1. Online registration: Visit Events. Fill out the form.

2. Download and complete Entry Profile: provide information of the design concept, target audience, and up-cycling and environmentally sustainable elements involved (photos proof required).

3. Email submission: send the file and link below to subfuneco@gmail.com before deadline

• Completed Entry Profile (in PDF format):

• 30-second video (in MP4 format): provide the link of file sharing service (e.g. Dropbox or Googledrive) where the video can be downloaded.

請依照以下步驟報名：​

1. 網上登記：請先到活動頁填寫登記表格。

2. 下載及填寫「作品資料」：提供作品概念、對象及升級再造和可持續元素  (須附圖片證明)

3. 電郵遞交作品：於截止日期或之前把以下檔案及連結電郵至subfuneco@gmail.com：

• 已填妥的「作品資料」(PDF格式)

• 不超過30秒的作品錄像(MP4格式)連結：須提供可下載錄像的檔案分享連結(如Dropbox or或 GoogleDrive)
